Burbank Housing Corporation (BHC) has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club (B&GC) of Burbank and Greater East Valley to provide enrichment programs for school-age children in our community.  Our youth programs offer schoolwork assistance, creative arts, enrichment activities, outdoor play, field trips, and more! BHC has designated two locations for our youth programs, the Elmwood Activity Center and the Peyton-Grismer Activity Center.

Through our partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, we can provide our low-cost summer camp and free after-school program. Our organization subsidizes the program expenses to offer free or low-cost programming to BHC residents and households living in our focus areas.  If you are a BHC resident interested in registering your child, you may sign up online via the Boys & Girls Club Parent Portal: parentportal.bgcburbank.org/

ALL-DAY SUMMER CAMP

At Burbank Housing Corporation, we understand the importance of providing equal opportunities to all children, regardless of their family's economic circumstances. Every year, BHC heavily subsidizes its summer program, operated by the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank, so that families that reside in our communities can afford to give their children an enriching summer experience. In addition, we offer financial aid to families who are unable to pay the program's $30 weekly fee.

To further enhance our program, our campers participate in weekly field trips to exciting destinations from educational museums to outdoor adventures. Our campers play at nearby parks and swim at public pools on a weekly basis to engage children in screen-free activities. In 2023, BHC expanded its summer program to offer swimming lessons to its participants through a partnership with the Burbank Community YMCA.
