For the 2021 holiday season, the Burbank Police Department (BPD) partnered with Burbank Housing Corporation (BHC) for its Annual “Shop With a Cop” event. “Shop with a Cop” is an event hosted every year by Burbank Police for children in the city. 45 children from the BHC community were invited to participate. On December 16, 2021, we went on a group shopping trip to the local Walmart and each child was presented with $100 to spend on gifts.
The children bought toys for themselves and gifts for their loved ones, all while bonding with police officers. This event would not have been possible without the support of Walmart, Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley, Burbank Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club of Burbank, Burbank Police Association!
